Alignment Tool Usage Steps and Methods

1.Determine the True North Direction Line Passing Through the Sensor Installation Position
Based on the installation location of the wind speed and direction sensor, use a compass to determine the true north direction line passing through the installation point on the platform. Mark this line or affix a label at the corresponding position for subsequent alignment with the laser crosshair.

2.Use the Alignment Tool to Determine the Final Orientation of the Sensor
After installing the wind speed and direction sensor, pre-tighten the clamp without fully securing it. Attach the tool to the cable outlet of the sensor mast, as shown in Figure 1. Align the proximal pointer of the alignment tool with the "N" direction (Figure 2). Turn on the laser and simultaneously rotate the sensor mast and the alignment tool. When the laser crosshair aligns with the mark or label from Step 1, tighten the clamp. At this point, the wind direction axis of the sensor will point toward true north.
